Jogging in nature will make you happier than running on a treadmill. I second that!

I found some interesting research about the benefits of running outdoors. It's definitely something that becomes pretty obvious when winter comes, treadmill running doesn't only suck because you're not moving (ok, it has its value, but still not as fun as a good run on a trail), it's not as good for other reasons. 

From the study: 
Exercising outdoors is better at cutting anger, fatigue and sadness than exercising indoors, says the journal BMC Public Health. And saving money on gym membership fees could also give many a reason to smile.
