Hanukkah (how do you spell this?) is upon us (it actually started a few days ago if I’m not mistaken) and I decided I wanted to assemble the finest songs for this holiday and create a running playlist for my Jewish friends. The problem is, that there are very few quality songs that can be used in a running playlist (and really, how much do you want to hear about dreidels while you are running… So I went out to seek advice from the wisest Jews of the land, and found my answer in the lyrics of Adam Sandler’s famous Hanukah song: Chanukah is the festival of lights So I decided to focus on the festival of lights part, and created a running playlist made up entirely of songs with the word “light” in them. I also couldn’t help but include some traditional and non-traditional Hanukah songs in case you really want to hear a song about playing with your dreidel… (this last sentence sounds a bit like a bad euphemism, but I’ll let it go). This playlist is 1:10 hours long, so you can work off some of the calories from those latkes you had last night. Let this running playlist light your holiday and your heart. Happy Chanukah to my Jewish friends Get the running playlist
