Had to share this because it's so ridiculous. Apparently, someone in the mini company is also a runner and they decided that if an app that changes bpm while you run is a good thing, then why not do it for a car. Sounds very safe to me... I can just see myself cruising to high powered music and pushing the car as fast as it can go to match my bpm... I'm also wondering how you translate BPM to RPM. like you do with steps in running?

If you've used one of the athletic apps for the iPhone, you're probably familiar with the feature that matches the music to your workout. You run faster, the system ups the BPM. Cycle slower and the tempo drops. Miniwants to do something similar with the Mini Connected system, and that's just the tip of the interactive infotainment iceberg.
