It’s still very cold outside, and snow is everywhere. I even recently heard on the news that 49 out of 50 states in the US are experiencing snow. This means that if you are out running, you’ll want to warm up quickly and get done fast… I put together this playlist to start quickly (except for the first motivational song, which is a bit slow and if it’s too cold outside you can listen to it in the car…:) and build up quickly. I didn’t want to get the BPM too high, because running too fast on snow and ice can be slippery, so I kept the average BPM at 131. This playlist is 1:16 hours long, which means that if you want to run a 10k with it, you’ll need to keep a pace of 12:14 mile/min. Not too fast, but not a slow pace either. 10K running playlist of the week: 10-28-2010
It’s Thursday and once again it’s time for your 10k running playlist of the week. This week, I have to say that I’m not in a very happy mood. As some of you might know, I’m training for the Philadelphia Marathon, and recently, I pushed myself too far while training and hurt my knee… I’m pretty much off running for now, and I’m stretching and massaging my legs like crazy with hope that I can at least run in a few weeks. I’ve given up on a hitting a good time. So this week, I decided to create a more cautious running playlist. Starting with 3 slow songs, which will act as a good warm up, the list builds up slowly and hits 180+ BPM at the end. Personally, I will pass on the end part of the list and cap my list at 150BPM so I don’t hurt myself again. The average BPM of this list is 132BPM and it is 1:22 hours long so if you are using it for a 10k, you will have to run at most at 13:11 min/mile. get the list at running playlist

10K running playlist of the week: 10-14-2010
It’s Thursday and once again it’s time for your 10k running playlist of the week.
I’ve been very hard on you over the last few weeks with very fast high BPM running playlist, so I thought I’d go easy on you this week.
This 10k playlist is very relaxed, at 118 average BPM and is 1:33 hours long so if you are using it for a 10k, you will have to run at most at 15.02 min/mile, which isn’t very fast.

Running Playlist: 10K Playlist of the week: 09-23-2010
It’s Thursday and once again it’s time for your 10k running playlist of the week. This week I’ve made the playlist very diverse in terms of music styles. We have Pretty much everything from rock to alternative, from country to metal and even a few songs from movie soundtracks. It’s not a very slow playlist though. It’s 1:39 hours long (1:39:51 to be precise) so if you are using it for a 10k, you will have to run at most at 16.04 min/mile, which isn’t very fast, but it’s not too slow either. Running Playlist: 10K Playlist of the week: 09-09-2010
Today’s running playlist is designed to help you run a 10k. It’s timed at 1 hour 31 minutes, so it’s not for the slowest runners, but if your pace is faster than 14:40 min/mile it should be plenty for you. I made sure that you have a good mix of low BPM and high BPM songs in this playlist so you can cycle through running fast and slowing down when you need to rest a little bit while you are out there. Obviously, feel free to move songs around to match your running style, e.g. if you like to start very fast, then slow down a bit and then go fast again, you should move the lower BPM songs to the middle.
