This weeks Amazon top 10 has some changes but not too much good for us runners. First, I’m happy to announce that “California Gurls” is finally out of the top 10. It was such an annoying song, and it’s good to see that Amazon customers finally got some good taste in music back (even though Teenage Dream is still there… but I’ll take what I can get). Come And Get It comes in at number 5. The song has a jazzy feel to it and comes in with a BPM of 117, which is not the best for a running playlist, but you could use it for recovery if you like it. We also have a new entrant at number 10, Dog Days Are Over, but that song has a BPM of 76 which is not great for a running playlist. I’ve bolded the songs that would be good for a running playlist.
