Wow! Can you believe it’s the end of June already?! Time really flies I guess, and once again it’s time for another running playlist post about the top 10 songs on iTunes. I’m always happy when country music enters the top 10 on iTunes, I like country and even though these songs are usually low BPM, it’s still nice to have a change in pace from the pop and hip-hop that’s usually there (nothing wrong with pop or hip-hop, I just like some diversity every now and then…) I’ve been doing these lists for a while, and I noticed that in many cases, new singles appear on iTunes only and take a while to make it to other online stores. I’m sure it has something to do with all sorts of music industry contracts and stuff, but it really creates a monopoly of music for Apple and as much as I like Apple, I think the market would do better with some competition (like the free and $0.69 songs on Amazon). Anyway… get this running playlist and other running music at running playlist, I would love to hear your feedback on this, so please comment, or contact me onfacebook or twitter.
